So as I'm entering into my 9th month of pregnancy, I can't help but think of the babies who don't have access to clean water and the Mommies who's lack of water cause their breast milk to dry up ... Attached is a picture of my baby, June, and also a picture of what she would be drinking if she was born in Africa under these circumstances. Every 15 seconds a child dies of a water bourne disease. This has to stop! All of our babies deserve this human right!

THE NEW BOTTLE!

Well, the bottle is not so new at this point. We've had it for a few months but I'm just posting about it now. My husband was sweet enough to take this photo of the bottle for us and I think it came out pretty fly. So Thank you, Chapman Baehler... I love you and I love this bottle!!! I hope soon these little bottles will be found everywhere. Yo, Trader Joe's! What up?! Drink Generosity... Give Generosity... It's a no-brainer!
Special shout out to A Fine Frenzy!
If you've never heard the music of A Fine Frenzy... well, you should check it out! She's an amazing singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. Her music is beautiful, thoughtful, deep, emotional and moving just like she is. Her first album, One Cell in the Sea is about love, love loss, woodland critters and the all around beauty and fantastical possibilities of life. I love her because she's real and incredibly down to earth. She was sweet enough to come down and play a set at the Switchfoot Bro-Am in support of their cause and also in support of Generosity Water. She promoted the water very heavily from the stage and for that we are grateful. We hope to involve her further in this cause in 2009! She has a song called "Hope for the Hopeless" which I sometimes think should be the theme song to this cause. We cannot give up on people who don't have water to drink.
Time to get back in action!
I haven't posted in a long time... not too happy about that but instead of getting depressed about it I'm just going to make a commitment to start back up. With that said, there are some things in the last year that took place with Generosity that I'm going to post now (better late than never!).
Last summer we were lucky enough to be invited by Grammy nominated, platinum rockers and all around amazing guys, Switchfoot to be part of their annual surf contest, The Switchfoot Bro-Am. We had our own booth and got the chance to sell water, increase awareness on the global clean water crisis, watch some awesome surfing and listen to a great live show but a lot of great bands.
